Made with Nero d’Avola grapes, part of which were left to overripen on the vines, this opens with aromas of spiced plum, coconut and French oak. On the taut palate, close-grained tannins support dried black cherry, pomegranate, licorice and sage. It closes on a roasted coffee bean note. Drink after 2020. – KO – December 2018
