It was back in the eighties, in Monforte d’Alba, the beating heart of the Langhe and now a Unesco world heritage site, that the family adventure into wine started. It was brothers Bruno and Gianni who continued to uphold their father Giovanni’s heritage and great passion for wine. The scene unfolds in a magnificent farmhouse dating back to the 18th century, surrounded by the exacting geometry of the ampitheatrical vineyards of the
Ornati area that look out on the Maritime Alps.
Tenuta Rocca rests on the solid foundations of being on the right path for almost four decades. Nowadays you can count on the guiding hand and vision of Andrea and Chiara, the third generation.
In 1986 the family bought a property of about 18 hectares in the Ornati area in the municipality of Monforte d’Alba. It represents the beating heart of the Estate.
On the top of the hill, the cellar and the real house were built. The Cascina is immersed in the vineyards, just beyond the border of the Barolo area.
This territorial component allows us to highlight the “Selections” such as the Langhe Chiara, the Barbera d’Alba Superiore Vigna Ròca Neira and the Nebbiolo d’Alba Vigna Sorì Ornati.
