The Nanetti family, owners of a farm of around 50 hectares in Montalcino, have produced the famous Brunello di Montalcino as well as the equally prestigious Rosso di Montalcino for over 60 years. The estate lies in a splendid valley 480 m above sea level where Brunello Montalcino was originally produced from Sangiovese Grosso grapes. After a careful slection of grapes from the vines and a vinification at controlled temperatures the wine is left to age in the oak barrels Slavonia and Allier down in the family’s 15th century cellars. The Nanettis’ distinctive quest for top quality together with their desire to experiment with advanced oenological techniques has resulted in this company reaching excellent levels of quality in all its products.
